At Dawn Retreat, dining is not just a meal — it is an experience that begins in our garden. We pick what we cook, and we cook what we pick. Fruits plucked from our trees, vegetables pulled from our beds, and spices ground fresh each morning.

There are no printed menus here. Instead, our kitchen creates each meal based on what the garden offers that day. Every dish is made with love, served with warmth, and enjoyed in the company of nature.

A Day of Dining at Dawn

Every stay includes all meals — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. No menus, no bills, just genuine hospitality.

Breakfast

Start your day with fresh tropical fruits, traditional Sri Lankan hoppers, string hoppers, or a continental spread — all prepared fresh each morning.

Lunch

A hearty rice and curry feast with multiple dishes — dhal, vegetables, sambols, and papadam. Everything sourced from our garden and local farms.

Dinner

As the sun sets over the hills, enjoy a lovingly prepared dinner. Traditional curries, grilled dishes, or something special — always homemade.

Tea & Snacks

Premium Ceylon tea with freshly made short eats, roti, or homemade sweets — served throughout the day whenever you wish.
